"Streaker" by Tobacco

This album is so experimentally wonderful!! Thomas Fec, the man behind the crazy synth is not only pretty durn handsome, but amazingly talented at producing and composing. One of my most favorite dirty sound albums of all time. And this song...blast it.
"Blue Suede" by Vince Staples

Raw. Straight outta Long Beach. Staples is only 21, but if this rookie album in all it's greatness is a prediction of the future, his future will be crazy bright. This is my favorite from the album.
"Thunder Clatter" by Wild Cub

I love the lyrics of this song. A song about life and falling in love. This song is so fun, and that is how
love should be. Fun, and innocent. Love it.
"Black Widow" by Iggy Azalea

If you've ever wanted to get your dance on, get it on to this.
"Coffee" by Sylvan Esso
http://youtu.be/Qr5AIKRPIHo
Electro-pop baby!! The layers of this song are simply wonderful. They're gentle and basic, honest and funky. It makes you want to dance, relax and go for a walk all at the same time. I am not a fan of
most music videos but as a photographer, this one is aesthetically pleasing and full of life. Kinda
makes me wanna have a big ole' dance party.
"Coronus, the Terminator"
By Flying Lotus
A perfect song on a perfect album. Fly Lo is an experimental artist with deep roots in gospel, jazz and hip hop. Well actually, he just an all-around music genius! This album is titled "You're Dead!" and it is themed around death, faith and the afterlife. I love it when an artist successfully centers a great album on a central idea. It seems that those are the albums I never forget.
If I were to pick two favorites from "You're Dead," ""Never Catch Me" featuring Kendrick Lamar
would be on this list of faves as well.
As I said before that I usually loathe music videos, mostly because they distract from the feelings
their songs lend me, but the videos from the songs of this album have the opposite effect. It takes a
good director and an excellent cinematographer to collaborate and make a video that is fitting.
"It Takes a Lot to Know a Man" by Damien Rice
I am a fool who didn't pay attention to who Damien Rice was in my younger days. He was pretty much introduced to me by a friend at the beginning of 2014. How did I ever miss out on his first album?!?!!! His last album, "9", was released in 2006. He took quite a long break
and introduced us all to "My Favourite Faded Fantasy" in November of 2014.
One of my very favorite things about this song is the long instrumental ending. The entire album is mysteriously emotional; It is like each song leads us deep into Rice's personal
experiences. Top notch, from a very talented man.
"A Little God In My Hands"
By Swans
Through Swans many years in the music industry and a long list of past band members, they brought to us this little gem. This song sounds like what I imagine insanity would feel like. Droning lyrics, repeated chords, insanity never sounded so good.
Since I first heard this song, I have always imagined it being the background music of some
wonderfully crazy movie scene. I can't stop thinking about that.
"The Voyager"
By Jenny Lewis
I love Jenny. Simple as that. She is extraordinarily talented. The entire Voyager album is splendid, but this closing song, and the title track is spectacular. It is so simple but its meaning is what gets me every time. Have a listen or two and dream about it a little.
"Elastic Heart"
By Sia
I will be 100% honest and say that I avoided this song for a while because I got sick of everyone talking about the music video (which is great as well). But now I just can't stop listening to it!
"Closer"
By FKA Twigs
This entire album is my favorite!! FKA Twigs is the queen of trip hop. She is super fierce and each of her songs are as well. Love, affection, passion, pride and sorrow are the vibes of this album. One of my favorites EVER.
"Take Me To Church"
By Hozier
Ritualistic, sexual and beautiful. I kept hearing pieces of this song but it took me a while to look it up.
But the melody stuck with me, and that is why it is on this list!
"Bloom"
By Odesza
This whole album "In Return", is full of wonderfully ethereal electronic delights.
